Welcome #3!

Though his water broke Sunday afternoon, our little guy had to be induced 23 hours later. Then, after only one hour of hard labor, Paul Ezra entered our world. Born October 29th, 2018 at 4:25pm, weighing 2.9 kilos (6.4 pounds) and 50 centimeters (19.6 inches) long. He's adorable, with little sideburns and chubby cheeks. So far, he's my best eater; and at a week, already surpassed his birth weight!

It's been a crazy exhausting week at our house, with a newborn and two very sick toddlers. Praise the Lord, though, it is starting to get better. Yay! We love Paul and are so glad to have him join our family.

We chose Paul's name carefully. We wanted a name that worked in both Georgian and English, and we wanted it to have meaning. Paul means humble and Ezra means servant. We pray that he will be God's humble servant all the days of his life. This name also has the benefit of honoring two very special people. Paul is a name used on both sides of the family, being the middle name of Barbara's daddy and Michael's deceased younger brother.

As the boys are (finally!) getting well, they are able to see the baby and enjoy him more. Jude was very excited to get to hold him, and Zachary brings his finest most favorite treasures to baby brother. They are both fabulous and extremely happy big brothers. I look forward to showing off new family photos for Christmas!
