In His Presence

In my busy, stress-filled day,
Jesus pleads to "Come away.
"Put aside your many tasks,
And hear my voice today."

In the closet where I pray,
Jesus takes my fears away.
"Give to Me your cares," He calls,
"And rest in Me today."











In His arms I safely lay,
With peace that naught can take away.
I remember what His will is like;
It's here I want to stay!

In my ears I hear Him say,
"Do you love Me more than day?
Give Me all your plans and dreams
And walk with Me each day."

In my heart so prone to stray,
"Jesus I'm afraid!" I pray.
To give You all is hard for me;
Help me trust in You alway."

In His grace I walk each day,
Jesus guides me in His way.
He alone is Truth and Life.
I'll trust in Him alway!
