Snow in Summer

In junior church this class, I had GIRLS! I don't usually have girls. Ah. What to do. Since my curriculum had run out last week, I just decided to do a short missionary story, since I would be leaving after that. Previously, we had talked about the power of God, so I told a story of how God sent snow in the summer time to answer a missionary's prayer. The kids were so surprised.
"It can't snow in the summer!" They informed me.
So we were able to relate God's power to us. The link is prayer. As Believers, we have access to God's power through prayer. It is so cool to share such amazing concepts with a group so young and have them understand it. Then I asked them for prayer requests for while I am in Taiwan. What a great way to leave my class!
(The kids made great "summer snowflakes" to remind them of God's power.)
