I'm sorry it has been so long. The Lord is doing so much right now, and though I am busy with school and all, I know He's in control.
In junior church, we have been working through the Character Sketches. This month is about Loyalty, and it has been really neat to see what the kids understand about it. Really, most of them have no idea what loyalty really means, and then there are so many facets to understand...
Anyway, this week, we discovered what obedience and service has to do with loyalty. Elisha, Elijah's servant, was tested many times to see if he would really obey the calling of God on his life. Determined, Elisha chose to serve God regardless. In nature, we learned about a grizzly bear cub who ignored his mother's instructions, and paid dearly for it.
