Being the 4th of July, there were a lot of kids in Junior Church this week. What a blessing! They were good kids too. As we have been learning the armor of God, we sang our song, and went on to the story.
The armor of God, what have I here? This is my (heart keeper) I will not fear! (Heart keeper, ...truth buckler) God gave to me; a soldier of Christ I will be.
they are over; they instruct, correct, protect, and provide. Gideon was afraid that he had no authority among the people to lead them against the Midianites. But, before he went to battle, God showed him these four things, giving him authority from the Lord. Though Gideon did not go to battle with the usual armor, he had the shield of faith that you can't see because he was under God's command.
