Mission Impossible

Well, someone asked me about my dog, and so I decided he deserved a quick blog. He wrote a book a couple of years ago, but has stayed out of the spotlight in the last year or so because of his age, and because of having to take over the full farm duties. :)

After Shadow died, he has become quite attached to his master, and almost never leaves my side when I'm out of doors. He will even go out in a bad storm and walk through drifts over his head just to be with me. At night, he comes in after chore time and lounges on an overstuffed chair. (Okay, so maybe he's a little spoiled.) He always waits for permission though, so I figure he's okay.

Chasing the "little nannies" is probably his favorite chore now. They get out all the time, and so I'll tell him to "go put them in". He loves it! Though, I think it scares my nannies to death as they jump over the fence and dash for the barn.

Very rarely does he get a chance to get treats, so he really looks forward to Friday night bath time. Of course, that also means he gets a free ticket to sleep in the house, which may be why he likes it so much. And if he's really lucky, he'll get a nice bowl of warm milk too.

So, there's the update for all you Mission fans. Sorry he didn't write it himself- he's out of office right now. :) Keep checking back though- his "friends" the goats are getting ready to publish their book!
