"Thus saith the Lord, Stand ye in the ways, and see, and ask for the old paths, where is the good way, and walk therein, and ye shall find rest for your souls. But they said, We will not walk therein." Jeremiah 6:16

What a sad verse! God laid out a weighty choice: God's way/life versus my way/death. Sadly, the children of Israel chose the wrong one. They refused God. They gave up all the opportunities and blessings He had waiting for them. They thought God wasn't important enough to give up their way.

If God gave you that choice today, what would you do? My way seems a lot more glamorous, and I am in-charge, running everything. Or am I? God has a plan all laid out, and it is more wonderful than you or I can imagine. It isn't easy to do it God's way, but it is very rewarding!
